Conservatories are always perceived as having transparent roofs but this does not have to be the case.  We specialise in tiled roof garden rooms which are becoming seemingly more popular and can be constructed using either traditional tile and batten methods or using the new innovative tiled effect roof.

The traditional roofs are second to none for authenticity.  The tiles can match those on the main property to make the conservatory feel like it has been present for years and not a new or recent addition.  The internal ceiling can be plaster-boarded or left as exposed beams for a dramatic effect.  For additional light we can add ‘Velux’ roof lights  This option may have to include Building Regulations and steel supporting frames.

Our new tiled effect roofing system gives the appearance of a tiled conservatory.  The tile effect sheets are available in grey, black, red or green finishes with the glazing bars and other roofing components colour co-ordinated, with the internal surfaces being white.  We can however get the roof and components in any RAL colour inside and out to achieve the ultimate look.  Glass panels can be incorporated within the roof as required to help bring more natural light into the Garden Room.

This system can achieve better insulation properties than polycarbonate or double glazed units in a standard roof.
