The Edwardian style conservatory, sometimes also referred to as Georgian style, makes the most of its squared base and it also has a pitched roof for that added feeling of space.  These can come directly off the main house wall.  Alternatively for bungalow applications aluminium box gutters can be used or a tiled ‘false gable’ can be formed.
